Before applying to the Wavendon Foundation for a grant here are a few tips which may help both you with the application process and the Trustees in coming to a decision.

Fill out all the required information on the application.

Read our website and pay particular attention to About Us/What We Do.  Be concise. If you have a CV don’t just copy from it. Write something new. Tell us why you are applying – about your circumstances and what you have achieved so far.
We understand that you are ‘passionate’ about your chosen career so try to keep your application to NO MORE than TWO SIDES of A4 paper.

Unless you feel it to be necessary to your application, do not include information which the UK Data Protection Action defines as “requiring stronger legal protection”. This includes “race, ethnic background, political or religious beliefs, and sex life or orientation”

YouTube links are helpful but not essential.

    The Wavendon Foundation has only a small part-time administrative staff but we will try and acknowledge all emails within a week. The Trustees meet quarterly to consider applications but we will try and let you know promptly after our meeting if your application has been successful or otherwise.
